Heavenly Bodies is a curated group show featuring bodies of work by 27 transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming artists living and working in Seattle, WA. Works in this show explore the trans experience through the lens of photography, painting, textile art, sculpture, performance, and more. Join us for our opening reception on March 8th from 6-9 p.m. during the Belltown Art Walk. This exhibition will be open to the public from 1-6 p.m. Thursday-Saturday through March 30th. Heavenly Bodies is curated and directed by Jay Angel Valentine.

Events:

  • Opening reception: March 8th, 6-9 during the Belltown Art Walk

  • Lecture + Performance, "Can Love Bloom on the Battlefield?" by artists Adamska Elizaveta Rakhilkina and Vlada Kremenović: March 17th, 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm

  • Meet-Up event for trans creatives: March 23rd, 5-6 pm

  • Closing Reception: March 30th, 7-9 pm. Featuring live dj sets from artists Hoodski and Cloudy
