Words from Burl Norville: “I prefer to be a bit vague in my art, to use the absurdity of combined elements and themes to inspire a range of interpretations. When a viewer brings a new interpretation, especially if it's something I never thought about when creating the art, it makes me happy because it gives a piece more life. It becomes a conversation with the viewer instead of a monologue by the artist, and I prefer to have a chat.”
